Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on skyl.live and inside the SKYL platform, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Last updated: 4 July 2026
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser. Cookies allow a website to remember information about your visit, keep you signed in, and understand how features are being used.
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary. Required to run SKYL: authentication, session, security, load balancing and CSRF protection. These cannot be turned off.
Preferences. Remember settings you choose, like language, layout or theme.
Analytics. Help us understand which features are used and where users get stuck. We currently use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity for aggregated usage insights.
Marketing. Only set if you interact with a specific campaign or opt-in surface. We do not use cross-site advertising trackers on skyl.live by default.
3. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services we use — most notably Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and our authentication providers (Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In) when you choose to use them. Those providers have their own privacy and cookie policies, which apply in addition to ours.
4. Similar technologies
SKYL also uses local storage and session storage to preserve your login state, cache assets and remember UI preferences. These are not cookies but serve similar purposes and are covered by this policy.
5. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and core features. Analytics can be disabled without impacting core functionality.
6. Do Not Track
Because there is no consistent industry standard for Do Not Track signals, SKYL does not currently respond to them. We limit analytics to aggregated usage insights and respect the controls described above.
7. Changes
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. For questions, contact contact@skyl.solutions.
